Intended purpose / Indications

The dialysis kit is intended for attaining vascular access in patients requiring hemodialysis or apheresis. Blood taking or drug administration is permitted only in exceptional situations.

The Dialysis kit single lumen consists of:

• catheter;
• guidewire sheath;
• catheter cover;
• needle;
• guidewire in the dispenser;
• two dilators;
• three luer-lock cap (for each catheter lumen).

The dialysis kit catheter has a polyurethane, radiopaque shaft with non-communicating lumen, for each lumen it has a hole near the atraumatic tip. Each lumen branches at the hub into a labeled extension tube, equipped with a flow clamp and luer port.
